Lucky Cat Catering — A Joyful Culinary Identity On the Move

Rooted in the playful symbolism of the Japanese Maneki-neko, Lucky Cat Catering brings together three culinary brands — Poke Guru, Rolli Sushi, and Moncha Bev — under one vibrant and mobile identity. I created a full visual system, illustration, packaging, and spatial design that reflect the company’s mission: to deliver fresh, health-forward, and flavorful food experiences wherever people gather. From stationery to trailer graphics, every element was crafted to tell a story of movement, joy, and delicious discovery.

A bold, joyful identity rooted in symbolism

The Lucky Cat — a Japanese figure of good fortune — served as the foundation for this identity. I developed a playful yet sophisticated visual system to unite three brands under one cohesive banner, creating a flexible and memorable aesthetic for both print and digital touchpoints. Business cards, letterheads, and essential brand tools were designed to reflect the catering company’s reliability and freshness. Clean layouts and bold identity elements ensure clarity and consistency across communications.

trailer design

Bringing the brand to the streets

The branded catering trailer is designed to make an impression wherever it goes — festivals, markets, corporate events. With its eye-catching color palette and bold graphics, the trailer becomes an instant focal point and brand ambassador on wheels.

Beyond the trailer itself, the project encompassed a full creative direction — from branding and packaging design to print collateral and vehicle graphics. Every element, from takeaway boxes to aprons and signage, was designed to ensure consistency and recognizability. We also extended the visual identity to interior design elements, creating a cohesive and immersive brand experience at every customer touchpoint.

Branded Culinary Experience

Every detail counts — from the custom bamboo serving bowls to the embroidered aprons and thoughtfully branded textiles, every detail enhances the sensory experience of Lucky Cat Catering. These elements not only reflect the spirit of the brand but also bring personality and warmth to every meal served—making each bite memorable, wherever you are.

A cohesive and expressive visual identity

To establish a strong foundation for the brand, a complete graphic system was created — including the main logo, variations, typography, icon set, and color palette. This visual universe captures the joyful, mobile, and flavorful spirit of Lucky Cat Catering while ensuring clarity and consistency across all touchpoints.

A unifying visual to tell the full story

To reflect the synergy between Poke Guru, Rolli Sushi, and Moncha Bev Co., I created an original illustration that brings all three brands into a shared universe. The result is both narrative and vibrant, capturing the mobile, festival-ready spirit of Lucky Cat Catering.

restaurant design

A space that radiates the brand’s energy

For the physical space, I imagined a fresh and approachable interior that amplifies the identity — welcoming, modern, and clean. It's a space designed for movement and flow, just like the food and philosophy behind Lucky Cat Catering.

Johanna had the insight and talent to also incorporate her touch on the final product. Her artistic talent always made me happy with the end result: a clean and powerful branding package that makes a statement for my company.
